Tanco delivered a ground-up express car wash and detailing facility for Flo’s Car Wash, a fast-growing Southern California brand with a distinctive visual identity. The 8,200 SF project included an automated tunnel system with advanced conveyor and wash equipment, chemical and utility infrastructure, a branded customer lounge and waiting area, vacuum station bays, and site work including access lanes, landscaping, and monument signage.
Car wash facilities require specialized MEP coordination — high-volume water reclaim systems, chemical containment, and electrical infrastructure for automated equipment. Tanco’s pre-construction team worked directly with Flo’s equipment vendors and the design team to ensure the facility was built to operational spec from day one. The Flo’s Car Wash location opened to strong launch traffic and has consistently performed above its projected throughput targets.
