A Shake Shack tenant improvement in Brea — transforming an existing in-line retail space into a fully branded, high-volume quick-service restaurant.
Tanco completed a full tenant improvement for Shake Shack in Brea, converting a 2,800 SF in-line retail_space into a brand-compliant quick-service restaurant. Scope included full demolition of the existing shell, new MEP throughout, commercial kitchen installation, custom millwork and brand elements, and exterior storefront and signage improvements.
The Brea location required tight coordination with the shopping center’s landlord team for common-area tie-in work and temporary hoarding during construction. Tanco’s regional retail TI experience allowed for smooth execution in the active retail environment, and the restaurant opened to strong community interest ahead of the projected launch date.
